What is the Audi Advanced Key?
Audi puts a premium on comfort and ease of use. This is why all the new models that we have in our showroom come with keyless entry and start. This technology allows you get into your car and start driving, while keeping your key fob in pocket or purse.
This system is controlled by proximity sensors that are located in the trunks, doors and key fobs. Here are a few points you need to know concerning Audi Advanced Key.
1. Proximity Detection
Audi proximity detection lets you to start and enter your vehicle without having take the key out of your pocket or purse. This system lets you unlock your car's doors, trunk and engine with just a touch of the sensor button on the key.
A proximity sensor based on sound also referred to a capacitive proximity sensor uses acoustic waves to detect the presence of nearby objects. The sensors make use of an oscillator to create a signal that is then transmitted through the air and picked up by an audio microphone, which transforms it into an audio file. Then, the audio files are evaluated to determine how similar they are and how close they are. When they are within a certain distance to each other, the system will send a wake-up signal to the key. It will also send an ID signal matching the vehicle.
The first step towards an easier and more comfortable driving experience is proximity detection. The Audi advanced key features remote start which gives you to start your car outside the range of your key FOB. This is helpful when you are loading groceries into the boot, securing your children in their seats or packing for a trip with the family.

Audi pre sense basic, for instance it is a safety function that helps you avoid accidents by taking preventive actions prior to collisions occurring. It uses data from several other systems, including the front camera, radar sensors and Audi side assist to determine the probability of a collision and alert drivers. It also triggers automatic braking when speeds are up to 250 km/h (155.3) and inform the driver with an alert message displayed in the head-up and virtual cockpit display.

2. Authentication
The Audi advanced key system communicates directly with the car's sensors when you hit the lock button on your key fob. The system sends a code to the car's computer which confirms that the key fob is a valid key fob. This prevents unauthorised entry into the vehicle without the proper key fob.
It also lets drivers start their cars using the key fob that is in their pocket or purse. The Audi advanced key system makes use of proximity sensors in the doors and the lid of the trunk and a radio pulse generator in the key fob. The sensors open the doors when the key fob is in close proximity to the vehicle (about five feet). When you open the trunk, or use the door handle the vehicle detects the key and starts the motor.
You can also use the key fob to activate the push-button feature of your vehicle. You can start the engine by pressing the Start/Stop buttons that are integrated into the center console when the key fob is in your pocket or purse. The car's sensors check the authenticity of the key fob and once it's confirmed, the engine will start.
The Audi advanced key system has a keyless entry feature that allows you to open your vehicle's doors by simply pressing the handle on the outside of the door. This makes it incredibly convenient when your hands are stuffed or when you're wearing gloves, like when you're carrying your groceries or children into the vehicle. The system also includes an option to release the trunk, so you can open the trunk using an aplomb, which is a useful feature if you have a lot on your hands.

3. Keyless Entry
A keyless entry system is a great convenience, especially when you're carrying kids, groceries or gear. You can unlock your car by touching a button or sensor mounted on the door handle (some models have the technology built right into the lock). If you're carrying the key fob, it'll send a signal to activate the vehicle's sensors so that it can sense that you're in the vicinity and that your finger is at the button. This prevents unauthorised use of your vehicle by making sure that only you have the right to open the doors.
Keyless entry systems typically include the capability to remotely start your car without a physical key. This is accomplished through sensors in the trunk, tailgate and sometimes even inside the doors of the vehicle. These sensors will unlock the doors and turn on the engine of the vehicle when the fob is within 5 feet. Then, you can press a button to start your car. This is a great way to get your car warm and cozy before you head off to work in the morning or when it's cold outside.
Some of the most advanced versions of keyless entry do not require the use of a key fob. These vehicles can be opened and unlocked using an app on your smartphone. This is an excellent option for families or business owners who wish to give their employees an easy way to access company vehicles. Certain keyless entry systems even remember the driver's preferred seat position and temperature in the cabin. This can be a huge time saver while you're pulling up to the parking area.
Some of the more sophisticated models of keyless entry systems come with a touch-activated rear hatch function which will automatically shut and secure your cargo space by simply tapping your foot. This technology is available in many Audi vehicles and, depending on the model, it may be a standard feature or an upgrade for a fee. Be aware that these systems are not impervious to attack and can be manipulated by thieves who have skills or knowledge.
4. Push-Button Start
Audi is, unlike other brands of vehicles that offer remote starting in the factory, doesn't provide this feature in the factory. However, the brand does offer a second option that has similar features as remote start. It's called the Audi Advanced Key.
This feature is not a remote start system, but it's an excellent option for those who wish to start their car without having to insert the key. With this feature, you can open the doors of your Audi A4 or start the engine by pressing a button. The button is located exactly the same spot as the ignition button on a conventional car.
To activate this feature, you require a key fob in your pocket and close enough to the vehicle. Sensors in the door handles and trunk will activate once you and your key fob are within five feet of the vehicle. If you have the right code and a clear signal, the car will be able to lock or start the vehicle.
With the press of a button, you can easily connect your Audi A4 and begin driving without the need to look through your purse or pockets for keys. This feature is ideal for those who park their vehicles frequently. It can also be an excellent benefit for those who have to warm up their car quickly for a commute.
Once you are in your car the system continues to communicate with your key fob. This is done via encrypted signals, which helps to ensure that the system cannot be hacked. It is also possible to use the Keyless Go Card as a backup. It's a credit card-sized card that could be used to open the vehicle in case your key fob malfunctions or is lost.
